PTO Dine-Out Night at El Pollo Loco

Don’t cook on Thursday, December 16th, support our PTO by getting dinner out at El Pollo Loco located at 7820 Folsom Blvd, between 12:00 PM and 9:00 PM.  Just tell them you’re with Bancroft, or show them the attached flier, and we will receive 25% of the sales back to our PTO.

Student Council Dress-Up Days

Friday, 12/17/21 will be Winter/Holiday Dress Up Day, dress in your best 

ugly sweater or finest winter attire.

A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that donated to our gift card collection and toy drive.  We were able to deliver 6 giant bags of toys to the Sacramento Children’s Receiving Home and provide several of our own Bancroft families with gift cards to make the holidays a little brighter.

Winter Break

There will be no school beginning on Monday, December 20th through Friday, December 31st.  We will return on January 3, 2022!

Free Home Test Kits Provided for Winter Break 

In its efforts to mitigate the possible spread of COVID, the SCUSD is providing free home tests for each student.  Parents may choose to use these over-the-counter tests to monitor their child’s health and help ensure a safe return to school in January. 

Each box contains two COVID-19 testing kits.  The district suggests taking a test three (3) days before returning to school (December 31-January 1).  A video on how to use the test can be viewed at iHealth COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test- You Tube or by using the QR code on the box.  Please report positive results right away to covidreport@scusd.edu and the principal at Lorena-Carrillo@scusd.edu.  

District testing at Albert Einstein Middle School will be closed for winter break.  Check the SCUSD website for test sites and vaccination information.
