PTO Family Dine-Out Night

Join us tomorrow, Thursday, March 3rd, between 5:00 and 9:00 PM at Round Table Pizza, located at 9138 Kiefer Blvd.  Get together with friends and family, and help raise funds for Bancroft.  Round Table is generously giving 20% of the evening proceeds back to our PTO! Be sure to show them the attached flyer in person or on your phone.

Minimum Days/Parent-Teacher Conferences

Beginning Friday, March 18th and continuing through Friday, March 25th we will be on a minimum day schedule for Grades 1-6, no change for EK or Kindergarten. 

Grades 1-3     8:00AM-12:10 PM

Grades 4-6      8:00AM-12:24 PM 

Lunch will be available for students after school  Students who participate in afterschool programs, ASESor 4thR, should report  there, all other student’s should be picked up promptly.

 

SCUSD School Climate Survey

In Sacramento City Unified School District, your input on how our schools are doing is important to us. We hope you will take a couple of minutes to give us feedback by completing our school climate survey. The survey will be open from February 28 to March 25.

California school districts are required to survey families every year for their opinion on safety and feelings of connectedness to school. Parent and community voice is critical for our success, so please share this survey with other parents at your school and across the district.

The page includes links to surveys in Spanish, Chinese, Hmong, Russian and Vietnamese. We also want you to know that students in grades 3 through 12 will be asked to take a similar survey in the classroom. A copy of the student survey is available for review on the survey web page. Please complete one survey per school that your student attends. The family survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Thank you! 

COVID Update

New additional testing center is now open at Meadowview, 2401 Florin Road, daily 10-6PM.

 

OUTDOOR MASKING REQUIREMENT LIFTED

Face masks may be removed for outdoor activities, such as PE, recess or lunch, where students can keep reasonably distanced. Face masks should be worn in scenarios such as entering into a building, lining up to enter a classroom, or during passing periods when hallways are crowded and students are entering a classroom. It’ll be great to see those smiling faces when our students run and play outside! Individuals may choose to continue outdoor masking and face masks will continue to be readily available for all individuals.

 

2022-2023 Registration Information

Early Kindergarten registration has been delayed due to the new state changes.  We are hoping to have packets available around March 15th!

 

Kindergarten registration has begun! Packets may be picked up at the office, or the Enrollment Center, or completed on-line at SCUSD.edu, hard copy packets must be turned in to the Enrollment Center.  Students must turn 5 years old before 9/1/2022, enrollment is based on the date of registration.  All vaccinations for school are required for the packet to be accepted.
