Winter Program

We will have our Winter Program, Thursday, December 12th at 6:00 PM in the multipurpose room.  Students need to arrive by 5:45 and report to their classroom.  The following classes will be participating: Ms. Cleavenger, Mrs. Caldwell, Mr. Howell, Mrs. Theodorides, Mrs. Arnold, Mrs. Mitchell, Ms. Mercer, Mrs. Burge, Mrs. Ketchel, and Mrs. Anderson.  PTO will be sellling hot cocoa and treats.

 

Notes from the Office

Basketball Try-Outs will be held for all interested 4th-6th graders on Monday, December 16th and Tuesday, December 17th at 2:15 PM. A flyer has been sent home, more are available in the office.

 

The school is in need of 3 Apple TV’s.  If you are upgrading and would like to donate please contact the office.  THANKS!! 

 

Yearbook pictures are needed!  If you have any pictures of events/activities held here at school please send them to hubert-bancroft@scusd.edu.

 

Lost & Found

WE HAVE A HUGE AMOUNT OF CLOTHING! The clothes will be put out on the stage this Friday, December 13th.   Please come by and check for any lost items that belong to your student(s). EVERYTHING will be donated on December 20th.

 

Student Council News

Winter/Ugly Sweater Day will be Friday, December 20th.  Wear winter themed clothes, or your ugliest sweater, no costumes please.

Rainbow Day will be Friday, January 10th.  Each grade is asked to wear a specific color: 1st – red, 2nd – orange, 3rd - yellow, 4th – green, 5th – blue and 6th – purple.

 

Holiday Food Drive

We will once again being doing our Annual Holiday Dinner Food Drive.  If you know of anyone at school, or in the neighborhood, that could use a Holiday meal please contact the office, or look for a flyer later this week . Donations will be collected December 16th until 12:00 on December 19th.  Meals will be distributed on Friday, December 20th.

 Each grade is assigned a food item to donate:

Early Kinder-potatoes (bagged or instant), Kindergarten-juice/cocoa packets, 1st-canned vegetables/cranberry sauce, 2nd-fresh fruit, 3rd-potatoes (bagged or instant), 4th-rolls/cornbread, 5th-stuffing/gravy and 6th-pies/desserts

 

PTO Meeting Change

Beginning in January PTO meetings will be on the second Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM.
