Lunch on the Lawn/HELLO WEEK

Hello Week concludes tomorrow with “No One Eats Alone Day”. We are inviting families to join their students for Lunch on the Lawn.  Bring a blanket or chairs, and your lunch, and stake out a spot on the field.  Lunch times areas follows:  1st and 2nd grades 11:00-11:45, 3rd and 4th grades 11:25-12:10, and 5th and 6th grades 11:55-12:35.  There will be a sign-sheet by the cafeteria. Please observe red parking zones, and for safety there is no parking along the flagged cones in the driveway

We have had some great activities for Hello Week!  Ask you student about our author visit, chalk art, book buddies and Lend a Hand Day today!  Check out our Facebook page for photos of this weeks activities at Hubert H. Bancroft Elementary School @bancroftelementary.

SPOOKY Saturday

Mark your calendar our annual PTO Spooky Saturday! It will be October 26th from 3:00-6:00 PM on the blacktop.  We are in need of sponsors, so if you, or a business you know would like to sponsor please contact hubertbancroftpto@gmail.com.

School Site Council

We are in need of a parent volunteer for our School Site Council.  The term would be for two years. We meet once a month in the evening to discuss the school’s budget and improvements. If you are interested  please contact the office for more information or to pick up an application. the deadline in September 27th.
