Office Hours

We are open this week through Friday between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

We have some end of year items that have not been picked-up in the office. 6th grade posters are in front of the office in the barrel. After Friday most of the items will be disposed of. 

 

If you still have textbooks at home PLEASE drop them off this week! 

Student’s moving out of SCUSD will also need to turn in their laptop.

(We need an accurate count for fall to avoid unnecessary ordering)

 

Campus Closed

Our campus will be closed due to construction for the summer from June 28th through approximately August 16th.  We are excited to announce we will be having a new playground and new fencing/gates installed. 

  Due to the heavy equipment no one will be allowed on site for safety reasons.

to complete the interest form for before and after school care. Parents will be contacted later in summer for confirmation.

 

Summer Meals

Starting June 28th-July 30th, Monday-Friday, between 12:30 and 1:00, SCUSD will be providing free curbside Breakfast and Lunch pick-up, and a free box of groceries (Mondays only) from the Sacramento Food Bank, at specific school sites to children this summer.  Visit https://thecentralkitchen.org/curbside/ for details.

Community COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic for Ages 12+

George Washington Carver School of Arts and Science will be hosting a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Tuesday, June 22 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Both the Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be available. Pre Registration is encouraged, but walk-in appointments will be available. Register for the clinic at https://myturn.ca.gov/.  Everyone 12 years and older is eligible. Parental consent is required. Multiple minors may be accompanied by one adult 18 years or older.

Help Wanted

We have two positions available for the upcoming fall school year. We need a Noon Duty for lunch recess monitoring, this is a daily position for approximately an hour and a half per day. And a Library Clerk, which is 12 hours per week, you will be required to have library experience. Both are paid positions. 2021-2022 School Year
