We had 148 students entered into today’s raffle for the 4 Disneyland Tickets!
Two tickets were drawn at this morning’s assembly.

What an exciting day yesterday! We had 73 participants sign up online!
Mrs. Burge’s class had the most students sign up, 10 students!
Mrs. Crumbley’s Class is leading on the fundraising side with $455!

Beaverdash is in full swing! Today your students will receive the attached flier and registration will begin. To be eligible for the first set of prizes your student must register and send emails by the dates listed on the flyer. If 10 emails are sent by March 28th your student will receive a raffle ticket for 4 Disneyland Tickets, 2 winners will be drawn! Lets get online and send those emails! Drawing will be done Friday afternoon.

~Beaverdash Announcement~
This year Bancroft PTA is trying something different for our upcoming Beaverdash! We have teamed up with an online program to make contacting friends and family really easy for donations. Each family/child will have their own donation page if you choose to sign up for one. More information along with a sign up contest will be announced on Monday, March 25th!

Minimum days will continue through Friday, March 22nd. Primary will be dismissed at 12:10 PM, intermediate at 12:20 PM, our Thursday dismissal will be at the minimum day times. Students may eat lunch in the cafeteria but must immediately be picked up or go to their supervised after school program.

Pop Up Art Gallery
Join us on Friday February 8th, from 5:30-7:00 PM in the multipurpose room for PTA Bancroft Pop Up Art Gallery. The exhibit will feature our talented student artists. Admission is FREE! PTA will be scooping ice cream for $2. Artwork will be available for a suggested $5 donation. There will also be a raffle for a session of Firefly Art compliments of Dream After School Enrichment.

!!ATTENTION PARENTS!!
We have recently received a complaint from a neighbor regarding speeding and reckless driving. Please be sure to follow all speed limits and laws. watch for cars backing out of driveways and children walking/biking to school. While we encourage all students to be on time for school a couple of minutes is not worth an accident.

Talent Show
Rehearsals start on Tuesday, January 22nd, 2:15-4:15. Grand Opening will be on Tuesdays, Grand Middle on Wednesdays, Individual Acts on Thursdays and Grand Finale on Fridays.

Holiday Program
Joins us the evening of Thursday, December 13th at 5:30 PM in the cafeteria for a special Holiday Program. There will be singing and music, and PTA will be selling cocoa and treats!

Super Turkey Trot – POSTPONED
Due to the poor air quality it has been decided to postpone the Super Turkey Trot.
The new dates are to be determined, look for more info soon!
Bancroft School Helps Victims of Camp Fire
This week we are collecting all sizes of new socks, undies and diapers. Donations may be dropped off to the school cafeteria anytime through Friday, November 16th. They will be delivered to recovery centers in Chico this weekend.

October 31st - Students are not allowed to wear costumes to school on Halloween, instead we are doing a Spirit Day! Students and staff are asked wear orange and/or black shirts.

Box Tops for Education
Turn in your box tops by February 14th either to the classroom or the drop box in the office. Please be sure to put the teacher’s name or room number on the bag.

Friday, January 27th is Twin Day, match up with a buddy and wear the same clothes.
Lost & Found
Last chance to claim those missing clothes, check the fence around the kindergarten yard. After January 31st all items will be donated to the PTA Clothes Closet.

Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment for Secondary schools will be between January 10th and January 24th, a flyer was sent home with additional info. Go to SCUSD.edu during those dates to complete the form or for additional information.
6th Grade Parents
If you have not gotten a TDAP shot for your student you MUST have it done prior to them entering 7th grade, they will not be allowed to start school until it is completed! If you have had it done, please bring/send a copy to the office so we can update the health record.
