RED RIBBON WEEK FUN!

 

Red Ribbon Week Spirit Days, 

October 26th-October 30th.

Monday – “Proud to Be Drug Free” wear red to kick off the week

Tuesday – “Teaming Up Against Drugs” wear your favorite sports gear

Wednesday – “Follow Your Dreams” wear your favorite pajamas

Thursday – “My Future is Too Bright for Drugs” wear college spirit gear, or dress up as your future career choice

Friday – “Say Boo to Drugs” wear your Halloween costume

We can’t wait to see your creativity on Zoom!

 

Door Decorations

We will also be doing a Red Ribbon Door Decorating Contest.  Teacher’s will be providing a template (one is also attached) or student’s may create their own. They will be judged on the theme “See Your Future Without Drugs”.  Artwork may be submitted through the teacher virtually, or we will have a drop box in front of the office.  Prizes will be awarded to one student per grade level. All entries are due Friday, October 30th at 3:00 PM.

 

PTO Dine-Out Night

PTO will be hosting Dine-Out Night at Papa Murphy’s located at 3557 Bradshaw on Thursday 10/29 from 11am-8pm (30%). Flyer attached.

 

Virtual PTO Beaver Dash Kick-Off

On October 28th we kick off our annual Beaverdash, jog-a-thon fundraiser, virtually.
While we may not be in school in person, we can still get outside and run to raise
necessary funds for Bancroft! The fundraiser will culminate with the Beaverdash
run on Friday, November 20th.  See the attached flyer for more details!

 

Lunch Time Zoom w/ASES

Mr. Michael Ramires from ASES will be starting a lunch time zoom starting today. Michael and his team will be monitoring the zoom.  This will be a great time for students to connect with other kids outside of their classrooms.

Students need to list their first and last name in order to be let in.

If you have not yet logged in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal at the SCUSD.edu website please email me,  shelly-fleming@scusd.edu, to receive your “key” needed to create your user name and log-in.

 

Please go to our website hbancroft.scusd.edu and complete all of your student’s first day packet forms, we especially need the emergency card, LCFF and lunch applications as soon as possible as the deadline is fast approaching (please complete even if you don’t think you qualify).

 

Attendance is taken daily!  If your child misses participating in class for any reason please contact the teacher, and the office at 916-395-4595 (press 1 for 24 hour message), 

or email shelly-fleming@scusd.edu. 

 

If you child does not have a purple PE folder please come and get one!  They are in the front of the office on the carts with the teacher’s name on them. They are available to pick-up between 8AM and 6PM, Monday-Friday.
