Spirit Days
Every Friday is Bancroft Spirit Day, students and staff are encouraged to wear a Bancroft shirt, or Blue/Yellow. Bancroft Rocks will be the themes for Monday 4/29/24 and Tuesday 4/30/24 to kick off State testing for Grades 3-6 on May1st. Everyone is encouraged to wear a shirt representing their favorite rock band.
6th Grade Families
Sly Park week will be 4/22-4/26 for those students signed up. The Swim Club Celebration will be Monday, June 10th. Promotion will be Wednesday, June 12th. More details to come!
Also, just a reminder your student must have updated vaccinations before they can start 7th grade. If you have the vaccinations completed prior to the end of the school year bring a copy of the shot record to the office and we can get updated for you!
From Miss Amber
We are jumping into April and as we head into testing next month I wanted to tackle self-esteem, focusing on how we feel about ourselves and what makes us great! The higher self-esteem and self-worth our students have the more confident and positive they will be, and our school will be in turn. Here are some links for age appropriate videos:
TK-1

Will. I. Am. sings a catchy song in this video to encourage students to think positively about who they are.
2-3
In this video, students will hear from other kids about what confidence is and why it’s important. These kids are full of practical explanations and advice students will love.
4-6

The song in this video encourages students to remember that they are good! Students will love the social media pictures in this music video as they begin to feel proud of themselves and who they are.
