Covid Update

Check backpacks, today or tomorrow, for a second set of Covid Home Tests.

The test should be used on Monday, February 21, before returning to school on Tuesday morning.  Directions can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nSFPnzttkw

 

Masking Required in Schools – No Change at This Time

 

If anyone in your household tests positive for Covid please report it to the school and to covidreport@scusd.edu (if the test was done outside a SCUSD site). You will be contacted with further instructions.

If your student is vaccinated please be sure to update their record at scusd.edu/reportvaccine.  If you have problems, bring a copy to the school office of the vaccination record.

“Community” testing is available at Albert Einstein Middle School M-F 4:00-7:00 or The Serna Center M-TH 10-4, F 10-3

 

Lost and Found

The chilly mornings and warmer afternoons are creating an abundance of lost jackets.

The “rack”  is out on the sidewalk by the school sign, please check it out!

 

Student Council News

Student Council has been busy checking the calendar for special dress up SPIRIT DAYS!

2/18/22 – Patriotic Day, wear red, white and blue/stars and stripes

2/22/22 – Twin Day, find a friend to dress alike

Student Council elections for the next half of the school year will be 2/15/22-2/18/22, this is for grades 4-6 only.

 

2022-2023 Registration Information

Early Kindergarten registration has been delayed due to the new state changes.

 

Kindergarten registration has begun! Packets may be picked up at the office, or the Enrollment Center, or completed on-line at SCUSD.edu, hard copy packets must be turned in to the Enrollment Center.  Students must turn 5 years old before 9/1/2022, enrollment is based on the date of registration.  All vaccinations for school are required for the packet to be accepted.
