RETURN TO SCHOOL

As COVID-19 rates continue to decrease in our community and under the guidance of Sacramento County Public Health and the California Department of Public Health, we are looking forward to safely welcoming students back to optional in-person learning starting next month. Please view information about our district’s Health and Safety protocols and our work to ensure a safe campus environment at our Reopening Dashboard. 

Please complete the form at k12-schedule.com/sac-city to communicate the choice of learning option for your student by March 17 at 11:59 P.M. The form must be completed for each Sac City Unified student. If there is more than one student in your household please complete a form for each child. You will need to include your student’s ID number to complete the form.**

The current schedule for students to begin In-Person/Concurrent Learning is:

April 8 – Return of PreK – 3 students, and K-6 Special Day Classes 

April 15 – Return of 4-6 grade students 

If Sacramento County is in Red Tier: May 6 – Return of 7-12 grade students

** To find your student’s ID number in Infinite Campus

If you have accessed the Parent Portal before, log-in, click on ”Today”, the student number is located under the student’s name.

If you have not created an account please follow these steps: You will need to contact the office via email at shelly-fleming@scusd.edu for an activation key.  When you receive the key go to SCUSD.edu, at the top of the screen select Infinite Campus, select Student/Parent, select Campus Parent, select New user?, put in your Activation key, from this point you will be able to create your own log-in.

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE - CORRECTION

The California Department of Social Services, in collaboration with the California Department of Education is administering the federal P-EBT program in response to COVID-19 related school closures. P-EBT provides food benefits to help families with children who are eligible for free or reduced-price school meals through the federal School Breakfast or National School Lunch Programs.  Eligibility will be handled through the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS). There is no P-EBT application for schools or families to fill out. P-EBT cards will be mailed out to the address on file in CALPADS for each eligible child.  PLEASE BE SURE YOUR ADDRESS IS CURRENT WITH THE SCHOOL TO RECEIVE THIS BENEFIT, THE DEADLINE IS MARCH 10TH. CORRECTION YOU NEED TO CONTACT THE OFFICE WITH THE ADDRESS,  AND PROVIDE SOME FORM OF VERIFICATION (MAIL WITH YOUR NAME AT THAT ADDRESS).  THE VERIFICATION CAN BE EMAILED TO shelly-fleming@scusd.edu.  IT CANNOT BE CHANGED IN THE INFINITE CAMPUS PORTAL.
