State Testing – Grades 3-6

PLEASE BE SURE TO HAVE YOUR STUDENT TO SCHOOL ON TIME, GET PLENTY OF REST AND EAT A HEALTHY BREAKFAST! If they arrive late they will be sent to a buddy room and will have to make up the test.

From the Office

Even though the year is winding down the runny noses are not!  If you could donate a few extra boxes of tissue it would be much appreciated.

If you need to have an early dismissal for your student, please do not call ahead to have them waiting in the office.  We will call for them when you sign them out, you may want to allow a few extra minutes if it is lunch or PE.

Be sure to put your student’s names on personal items, and check lost and found, it will all get donated over summer break.

If your student is having a treat (ex: Starbucks, Dutch Bros.) in the morning please be sure they have consumed it prior to arriving at school.  We are also seeing an increase in snack foods brought from home being eaten during recess, these items may only be eaten during lunch for grades 1-6. 

 

Open House

Join us on Wednesday, May 22nd for our Annual Open House from 5:30-6:30.  This is a great time to visit your student’s classroom and to visit the next grade to see what to look forward to.  Kona Ice will also be available for purchase. 

 

Student Council

The final Student Store will be Friday, May 24th at 2:15.

Mental Health Awareness Month is the month of May!  I am excited to celebrate this month with the students and staff!  There are things planned each week, I understand May is testing and lots going on, so I tried to make this easy and fun for everyone.
