Student Council Spirit Days
Two days of Star Wars! May the 4th Be With You on Thursday, 5/4/23 AND Revenge of the 5th on Friday, 5/5/23 OR Cinco de Mayo.
4thR Fall Registration
Registration for the 2023/2024 school year started 4/26/23 for Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten. Registration for 1st through 6th grades will start on Wednesday, 5/3/23. Please email bancroft4thr@cityofsacramento.org for more information.
4thR will be closed on Memorial Day, May 29th.
Office News
Open House will be held Wednesday, May 3rd. Classrooms will be open starting at 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. PTO will be on site selling spirit wear!
Last Day of School will be a minimum day, no change for TK or Kindergarten. Grades 1-3 will be dismissed at 12:10 PM, grades 4-6 will be dismissed at 12:24 PM. Students may have lunch in the cafeteria, but must be picked up, or go to their on-site program as soon as they are done.
Summer Matters will be held at Bancroft this year! The program is open to all incoming TK-6th graders, between June 26th and July 28th, daily from 8:00 AM -2:30 PM (except 7/4/23). The program will include academic enrichment, social emotional learning, healthy choices, STEM, outdoor activities, snack and lunch. Go to https://www.youthdevelopmentscusd.org/summer-2023 to register, and for more details. Space is limited, registration ends May 15th, parents will be notified between 5/30/23 and 6/9/23 with more details.
2023-2024 Kindergarten/TK Registration
Parents may register on-line at https://www.scusd.edu/kindergarten-registration, https://www.scusd.edu/transitional-kindergarten, in person at the Enrollment Center, or pick-up a packet (Kinder only) from the office and turn it in at the Enrollment Center. Kindergarten students must turn five on or before September 1, 2023, and have all the required immunizations. Transitional Kindergarten students must turn 5 between September 2, 2023 and April 2, 2024, and have received their required immunizations. New this year for TK, families need to register for their neighborhood school, or the nearest school with a program, enter your address at http://www.scusd.edu/school-finder to find your closest site.
