Playday

Friday, June 9th is Playday for Grades 1-6. Primary grades will start at 8:15 to 10:00, Intermediate will start at 10:00 to 12:00.  Students will rotate through multiple activities that will include some water.  Students may wear a swimsuit, but need to wear shirt & shorts over it, no flip-flops or open toed shoes!  Please send a change of clothes and shoes for after the event.

6th Grade Promotion

The 6th Grade promotion will be Wednesday, June 14th at 8:45 AM on the blacktop.  Students must arrive at school at the regular start time, 8:00 AM. Parents will be allowed on campus to choose their seats at 8:30 AM, families cannot reserve seats. If you arrive late and there are no seats left, please stand on the side or at the back of the audience. Please no balloons or bullhorns. Parent’s will sign for the report card/certificate envelope at the designated tables, they may also sign for early dismissal at that time after the ceremony.

Office News

Last Day of School will be a minimum day, no change for TK or Kindergarten.  Grades 1-3 will be dismissed at 12:10 PM, grades 4-6 will be dismissed at 12:24 PM. Students may have lunch in the cafeteria, but must be picked up, or go to their on-site program as soon as they are done.

ASES Fall Registration

Interest forms are now available for the ASES program for the 2023-2024 school year.  Visit www.youthdevelopmentscusd.org/elemk8 to complete the form, and for more information.  The program is available for TK-6th grade daily after school until 6:00PM, the schedule matches the school calendar.

4thR Fall Registration

Registration for the 2023/2024 school year started 4/26/23 for Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten.  Registration for 1st through 6th grades will start on Wednesday, 5/3/23.  Please email bancroft4thr@cityofsacramento.org for more information.

2023-2024 Kindergarten/TK Registration

Parents may register on-line at https://www.scusd.edu/kindergarten-registration, https://www.scusd.edu/transitional-kindergarten, in person at the Enrollment Center, or pick-up a packet (Kinder only) from the office and turn it in at the Enrollment Center. Kindergarten students must turn five on or before September 1, 2023, and have all the required immunizations. Transitional Kindergarten students must turn 5 between September 2, 2023 and April 2, 2024, and have received their required immunizations. New this year for TK, families need to register for their neighborhood school, or the nearest school with a program, enter your address at http://www.scusd.edu/school-finder to find your closest site.
