School starts on Thursday, August 29th at 8:00 AM.
REMINDER!! It is our regular early Thursday dismissal time,
1st through 6th grades will be released at 1:12 PM.
Class lists will be posted on the office windows Monday, August 26th at 6:00 PM.

NO School – Labor Day
There will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 2nd in honor of Labor Day.
NEW Speed Limit on Belmar Street
The City of Sacramento has changed the speed limit to 15 miles per hour. Please drive safely!
PTO Shaved Ice Social
Join us on Monday, August 26th between 6:00 and 7:00 PM on the playground for a
Shaved Ice Social. Kona Shaved Ice will be available to purchase.
Meet, greet, catch up with old friends and check out the class lists.
NEW Innovation Lab
This year we are excited to announce Bancroft’s Innovation Lab. In the Innovation Lab students will be able to participate in hands-on STEM based activities. Our goal for the Innovation Lab is to create a space where our student’s can make, collaborate, learn and share. In order to have a successful year, we need your help!
We are looking for specific donations: Legos (all shapes and sizes), scrap booking supplies, fabric remnants and rolls of duct tape. If you have any of these items and are able to donate them, we will gladly take them off of your hands. Please bring donations to the office.
If you are a parent who has an engineering or art background and would like to volunteer your time helping out in our Innovation Lab we’d love the help. Please contact Mrs. Carrillo or Mrs. Arnold for more information.
Are you Ready for Some Football?
There will be a parent meeting on Wednesday, September 4th at 3:00 if your student is interested in joining the Bancroft Football Team this fall. The first practice will be on Friday, September 6th from 2:30-3:45.
