Scholastic Book Fair

The Book Fair will be open daily before school from 7:30-8:00 AM, and after school at 2:15 PM, for the week of March 2nd through March 6th.  You can pre-pay to your student’s EWallet at the following link https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bookfairs/parent-how-it-works.html?fairID=4387535.

 

Runnin’ For Rhett

Practices started February 24th and will be held every Monday and Wednesday from 2:15-3:15 on the blacktop.  Please register on-line at www.runninforrhett.org/permissionslip, registration is open NOW through March 13th.  The race will be held March 29th.

 

Family Dine-Out Night

Our next Family Dine-Out Night will be Subway by Raley’s on Thursday, March 12th.

Minimum Days 

Minimum days will begin on Friday, March 13th and continue the following week through Friday, March 20th.  There is no change to the Kindergarten or Early Kindergarten schedules.  Primary grades, 1st through 3rd, will be dismissed at 12:10 PM, intermediate grades, 4th through 6th , will be dismissed at 12:24 PM.  Student’s may eat lunch in the cafeteria after dismissal, but then must go their scheduled after school program or be picked up.

Don’t forget Thursday, March 19th will be a minimum day, not our usual “early out”!

 

PTO Sponsored Classes

See the attached flyer for after school classes sponsored by our PTO.  It’s not too late to sign up for Art, Coding, Chess or Dance.  The dates and registration websites are included in the flyer.

Notes from the Office

 CGNA is hosting an information meeting on Candy/Drugs in our Schools and Community.  The event will be held Tuesday, March 3rd at 6:30 PM at the McClaskey Adult Center, 2635 Chestnut Hill Drive, Room 1.  Please RSVP to CGNA@collegeglen.org.  This is an adult only event.
