Literacy Week Spirit Days

Monday, March 4th – Friday, March 8th

Monday – Read My Shirt Day: wear a school appropriate shirt with words

Tuesday – Fox In Socks: wear silly or mismatched socks

Wednesday: Guess Who? dress up as your favorite book character

Thursday: Hats Off To Reading: wear your favorite hat

Friday: Snuggle Up With A Good Book: wear pajamas

 

Pages Read Contest

The classes that average the most pages read per student will win a party from PTA!

Reading log pages will be sent home on Monday, March 4th.  Please help your student(s) log pages all week long from Monday, March 4th through Friday, March 8th.  Reading logs are due on Monday, March 11th to count towards the contest.

 

Scholastic Book Fair

March 4th-March 8th (closed March 6th for testing) in the Library, before and after school.

  Help Wanted!!  Volunteer for two shifts and earn $10 in Scholastic Dollars to spend at the fair!  Sign up at www.scholastic.com/bf/huberthbancroftelemsch1

 

PTA Meeting

March 7th in the cafeteria, starting at 6:00 PM.

 

Minimum Days

Minimum days will begin March 15th through March 22nd, Primary will be dismissed at 12:10 PM, intermediate at 12:20 PM, our Thursday dismissal will be at the minimum day times.

 

Yearbook Pictures

Please submit any pictures you may have for the yearbook to hubert-bancroft@scusd.edu.

 

A Never-ending Story: Lost & Found

The rack is full and the bins are filling up AGAIN!  Please check them anytime

 you are on campus.  It all eventually gets donated.
