IMPORTANT NEWS FROM THE OFFICE

Drop Off -  Morning drop-off begins at 7:30 AM, no earlier please! There is supervision in the cafeteria beginning at 7:30, and on the playground at 7:45.

Dogs -  Please do not bring dogs on campus (even on a leash), the best pet can become anxious with so much activity.

Pick Up -  In the afternoon we ask that you wait in front of the school for your student(s), not in the hallways or by the doors.  It can be distracting for the classrooms.

 

PTO Membership Drive

Flyers have gone home with membership information.  If you turn in your membership this week your family will be entered in a drawing for a FREE family admission to SPOOKY SATURDAY.

Family Dine-Out Night

Our first PTO Family Dine-Out Night will be on Thursday, September 12th between 3:00 and 7:00 PM at Paquita’s Mexican Grill located at 49 Bicentennial Circle. 

 Look for a flyer to come home soon!

 

Back to School Night

Back to School Night will be on Wednesday, September 18th.  We will meet in the cafeteria for a welcome and introductions  Classes will be open at 5:45 PM for the first session, the second session will begin at 6:15 PM for families with multiple students.

 

SPOOKY Saturday

Mark your calendar our annual PTO Spooky Saturday! It will be October 26th from 3:00-6:00 PM on the blacktop.  We are in need of sponsors, so if you, or a business you know would like to sponsor please contact hubertbancroftpto@gmail.com.

 

School Site Council

We are in need of a parent volunteer for our School Site Council.  The term would be for two years. We meet once a month in the evening to discuss the school’s budget and improvements. If you are interested  please contact the office for more information or to pick up an application. the deadline in September 27th.

 

NEW Innovation Lab

This year we are excited to announce Bancroft’s Innovation Lab. In the  Innovation Lab students will be able to participate in hands-on STEM based activities.  Our goal for the Innovation Lab is to create a space where our student’s can make, collaborate, learn and share.  In order to have a successful year, we need your help!  

We are looking for specific donations:  Legos (all shapes and sizes), scrap booking supplies, fabric remnants and rolls of duct tape.  If you have any of these items and are able to donate them, we will gladly take them off of your hands.  Please bring donations to the office.

 

If you are a parent who has an engineering or art background and would like to volunteer your time helping out in our Innovation Lab we’d love the help.  Please contact Mrs. Carrillo or Mrs. Arnold for more information.
